= Linguistic Support for Processing Chinese Language

Besides providing various corpuses and technical services to help projects to solve common linguistic problems, the language coordinate includes linguistic ontology, markups (phonetic, syntactic and semantic) and multi-lingual mapping facilities. The common linguistic problems include solving the “missing character problem” which is caused be the in-adequacy of the present-day Interchange Codes of Chinese characters, authority control of variants of Chinese characters, auto-segmentation of words from text, parsing of Chinese sentence, and many more.
