One year in Ji Lok Temple

During this year, I feel I can study at JI LOK temple is a very rare chance.

At here, we can learn many things like how to do housework, how to become an independent person, how to get on with others. When we were at home, we needed not to do housework, my mum did everything. But now, when we came here, there were many things we must do ourselves, like washing clothes, sweeping the floor, washing dishes, etc. So we must learn how to do all of them. At the beginning, we felt it was a difficult things to do. Now even if we were not doing it well, but at least we knew how to do these. Therefore, we could help our mum to do the housework in the future.

We have many subjects to learn like buddhist doctrine; computer; cooking; etc. I came from Indonesia, I was so lucky to be here, In Taiwan, therefore, I could learn chinese. At home, we seldom spoke chinese. But now, my chinese has been improved.

Many subjects we have learnt here can give me know more about buddhism. We also have many good teachers to teach us. I feel we are very happy so we must treasure this time.

Although we stayed at Ji Lok temple for only one year, we have learnt a lot of different things. We were very grateful our teachers education, I will work hard, and will not let our teachers feel disappointed.
